Vancouver B.C. (27 Sep 2013) \u2013 A September 2013 survey of Vancouver residents by Justason Market Intelligence finds support for governing Vision Vancouver<\/strong> has fallen to 40% from 47% just over a year ago. Non-partisan Association (NPA)<\/strong>, Green<\/strong>, and COPE <\/strong> garner support from 22%, 18% and 16% of decided municipal voters.<\/p>\n

Support for the governing Vision Vancouver<\/strong> is highest in the Downtown Peninsula<\/strong> (61%). Support for NPA<\/strong>, on the other hand, is strongest in Vancouver’s West Side <\/b>(30%). However, even on the West Side, Vision Vancouver<\/strong> predominates, with fully 40% of decided voters expressing support for Vision Vancouver<\/strong>, compared  to 30% NPA<\/strong> support.<\/p>\n

These are the findings of a Justason Market Intelligence Inc. online poll of 403 decided voters among 542 adult residents of the City of Vancouver. Justason’s online panel was the sample source. Data in this non-probability sample were weighted to match the regional distributions and demographic characteristics (age and sex) of the City according to the most recent census.<\/em><\/p>\n
