(October 11, 2012) \u2013 A growing majority of British Columbians is opposed to the Enbridge proposal to transport crude oil through B.C.\u2019s inside coastal waters.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Opposition to Enbridge supertanker proposal<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>A strong majority of B.C. residents is aware of the Enbridge proposal to transport crude oil from Alberta through B.C.&#8217;s inside coastal waters to refineries in Asia&nbsp;(87% up from 78% in March). According to the most recent poll by Justason Market Intelligence, &nbsp;71% of B.C. residents (up from 66% in March) <strong>oppose<\/strong> this plan, including 57% (up from 50%) who&nbsp;<strong>strongly oppose<\/strong>.
