Vancouver, BC  (Oct 28, 2011) \u2013 An October survey by Justason Market Intelligence (JMI) finds that trust in Vancouver’s police department<\/strong> has grown to 74% among Vancouver residents (up from a low of 67% in July). Over this same period, distrust has fallen to 17% of Vancouver residents (from 26% in July).<\/p>\n

Vancouver’s park board<\/strong> places second among civic organizations examined, with 68% trust.<\/p>\n

Vancouver’s municipal government <\/strong>is a close third (61% trust). Notably, over the same period, the proportion who “highly” distrust the municipal government has fallen to 11% from 18% in July.<\/p>\n

Trust in Vancouver’s school board<\/strong> is stable at 55%.<\/p>\n
