NPA closing in on the Vision Vancouver lead
2010-11-30
Vancouver, BC (Nov 30, 2010) – A November survey of Vancouver residents by Justason Market Intelligence shows a decrease in the Vision Vancouver lead. If a municipal election were held tomorrow, 45% of decided voters would support Vision Vancouver, down seven points since August. NPA garners 30%.
When the pollsters tested a possible candidate, Suzanne Anton succeeds in narrowing the gap between NPA and Vision even further to a statistical tie (38% and 41% respectively).
Barb Justason, principal of Justason Market Intelligence, point outs that this was a hypothetical test. Suzanne Anton has not declared she would be interested in running for mayor. “What the research does tell us though is that a declared candidate can be a game changer in Vancouver.”
This poll, the second in a series, was launched to follow the opinions of Vancouver residents on a range of issues including politics, government and business.
