Vancouver B.C. (29 Apr 2014) – Half (51%) of City of Vancouver residents oppose keeping whales and dolphins in captivity at the Vancouver Aquarium; 31 per cent “strongly” oppose. Opposition is higher among women (59% versus 44% among men).
Research Notes
These are the findings of a Justason Market Intelligence Inc. online poll of 481 adult residents of the City of Vancouver. Justason’s panel was the sample source. Data were weighted to match the regional distributions and demographic characteristics (age and sex) of the City according to the most recent census.

- Methodology: Online
- Margin of error: The study relied on a non-probability sample of online panelists. A unweighted probability sample of 481 reports a margin of error of ±4.5 percentage points, 95% of the time.
